Dean is a registered psychologist who brings a grounded, compassionate approach to his work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. With over 13 years of service in the Air Force, Dean offers a unique perspective informed by lived experience in high-pressure environments, alongside his professional training in psychology. Dean values collaboration and works closely with families to ensure each young person receives tailored and meaningful support.
Dean is especially passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults. He draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused therapies. Dean places strong importance on building safe, genuine therapeutic relationships and values authenticity, warmth, and appropriate humour to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered.
